How to Make Relaxing Foot Soak Salts
Let's make something for weekend to create a spa kind of treatment for foot.
My mom was diagnosed with bone spur and sometimes she feels severe pain after work day. Doctor advised her to use salt foot soak for relaxation. So, I have researched many ingredients and used this combination which reduced her pain a lot.
Himalayan pink salt is a pink salt found in Himalayas. It is used as an alternative to table salt and is well known for it's unique healing properties. It is loaded with minerals like Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Copper and Iron. It relaxes cramped muscles and reduces inflammation.
Epsom salt, also known as magnesium sulfate has been used from many years for pain. It soothes muscle aches, exfoliates dry and cracked heels. It also eliminates odor and helps treating infections.
Table salt, also called as Sodium Chloride can be used to relax feet and reduce swelling.
Kasturi Manjal or Wild Turmeric or Curcuma Aromatica is widely used in skin care to reduce blemishes and acne. It exfoliates and brightens skin. Reduces odor and skin infections.
Ingredients required:
- Himalayan Pink Salt 30% (30 gram)
- Epsom salt 20% (20 gram)
- Table salt 48% (48 gram)
- Wild turmeric 2% (2 gram)
- 3 tablespoons Himalayan Pink salt
- 4 and half tablespoons table salt
- 2 tablespoons Epson salt
- 1 teaspoon Wild Turmeric
Procedure:
Just mix all the ingredients in a glass beaker and pour in an air tight container.
How to use:
You can use 2 tablespoons of the salts prepared for 2 litres of lukewarm water. Water should not be too hot or too cold. It should be bearable by feet. Soak feet for 15-20 minutes.
