How to make Golden Facial Oil Serum
Oil serums are not only useful for dry skin but are also useful for acne prone skin. Light seed oils are nourishing and healing. Here is one such light and quick absorbing oil. I called it golden facial oil serum because of its benefits and the feel it leaves after oil massage on face. After a stressful day, massage with the oil relaxes facial muscles and also promotes good sleep.
Let's discuss about the oils used,
Rosehip Oil: This oil has a rich orange color. It is a dry oil with good source of Vitamin C. Rosehip oil is known to moisturize and improve the skin texture.
Grape seed Oil: It is a light oil which can reduce the appearance of scars and blemishes. Also known to tighten pores.
Black seed Oil: Also called as Nigella Sativa. It is high in anti-oxidants. It was used to treat rashes and skin inflammation in Ayurveda.
Rice bran Oil: Skin soothing oil which is rich in Vitamin B, Vitamin E, Ferulic Acid and Squalene. Squalene is found naturally in skin sebum.
Wheat Germ Oil: It is also a great source of Vitamin B6 and Vitamin E. It is also easily absorbed by skin. Wheat germ oil may help treat skin scars.
Ylang Ylang Essential Oil: Ylang Ylang is soothing which reduces stress and inflammation.
Amla extract (Oil Soluble): Rich in Vitamin C. Anti-inflammatory
Silk protein extract (Oil Soluble): Benefits of silk extract are cell regeneration, moisturization and repair.
Vitamin E Tocopherol: To prevent these oils from oxidation Vitamin E is necessary.

You can see in the picture how beautiful the color is. It works beautifully too.
How to store the oils and Shelf Life?
These oils have shelf life of 6 months to 1 year. It is safe to use within 6 months and storing in
fridge helps oil stay fresh.
How to use it?
I apply three or four drops on face using dropper and massaging gently. I recommend using it
in night rather than morning because it will be a bit oily (even though it is a quick absorbing
one) and also can heal during sleep.
