- Amla powder: 1/4 tsp
- Bhringraj powder: 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaf powder: 1/4 tsp or 5-10 leaves or 1tsp infused oil
- Indigo powder: 1/4 tsp
- Gotukula powder: 1/4 tsp
- Ratanjot root powder: 1/4 tsp or 2 small pieces
- Hibiscus powder: 1/4 tsp
- Methi seeds: 1/2 tsp
Procedure:
1) First grind Fenugreek seeds, Ratanjot roots and Spiked Ginger Lily pieces to pieces in
Mortar and Pestle.
2) Add the measured ingredients in a beaker.
3) Pour Coconut Oil and Castor Oil.
4) Heat the mixture on a double boiler for one hour on low temperature. Don't put on high
flame. ( You can put it on double boiler for 2-3 hours to have complete infusion)
5) After removing from double boiler, leave it for few minutes to come to room temperature
and then strain it using Coffee Filter or Cheese Cloth. If you see powder floating, you can filter
for couple of times or leave to settle it down and then filter.
6) Since Coconut Oil and Castor Oil has good shelf life, I haven't added Vitamin E. Vitamin E
Tocopherols can be added to increase the Shelf life.
7) Use Amber Glass to store for more days.
